Classes
I just had lunch at Olive Garden with Jodie and Conchita. The food was tasty and so delicious and the company was fabulous. While there we got into a conversation about the swarm that will be happening in a few weeks. Ooh! the time is ticking and I sure don't want to get a lickin so I better get going so I will have this swarm flowing! Did I say that? Mmm! look what you girls are in for. Think your going to be able to put up with me for 55 hours?
Jodie has informed me that she and Jeanne have great classes planned for us. I am so excited I can't wait. Just the thought of having so many hours to crop till we crash! To eat, drink, learn, win gifts and most all enjoy each others company. Wow! Who wouldn't want to do that.
Jodie has also informed me that she will have a picture of the layout kit she has prepared so hopefully I can get it posted for you all to see. Jodie does fine work. Thanks girl!
I too will try and get the card kits posted hopefully next week.
I have all the gifts ready and waiting. Remember you must be in attendance to recieve your gifts. They will be given out during the 3 days. You will never know when your name will be called.
Things to remember if your participating in the home cricut layout contest.
You must remember to have your cricut layout that you made from home put on the contest table right when you arrive. Please ask AK or Bonnie for a special ticket for you to win a special gift. This gift will be given to you after the announcement of the winner.
This ticket is seperate from the ticket you will recieve when you enter which will be for the grand prize on Sunday.
If you do not have it available right after you come in, you will not be eligible for that special ticket but you still will be eligible to enter the contest for first and second place winners.
I myself can't wait to see everyone's work.
Don't forget to call Scrapnstamp at 904/725/1253 to register there still is time. Because of the holiday, if you think you need an extention on paying for registration please speak to Jodie, she will be the only one who would be able to accommodate your request. Did everyone survive the hustle and bustle of the holidays!
Hello Everyone! I sure hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Santa was good to everyone.
I myself had a very nice one, enjoying our grandchildren opening presents and getting so excited. My grandson Hunter who is 4 was upset with his dad as he left twigs in the fireplace and Santa had to land on them and then he ripped his pants as Hunter found a piece of Santa's red pants on the metal rack the wood sits on. The rack was even knocked out of the fireplace. Hunter got excited when he saw the Cookie crumbs that were left in the fireplace. He also told his dad not to start a fire Christmas eve as he didn't want Santa to get burned. We all laughed.
On Christmas Eve Santa drop in my home for a visit while we had company. All the grandchildren were screaming and so excited to see him thru the window and then Santa knocked on the door. We let him in and he threw snow all over everyone. It was so much fun. Santa had a gift for everyone that was there even me. I got to sit on his lap too.
One of my friends we'll she was not being so good as I think she was flirting with Santa. I was watching her and she didn't take her eyes off of him. She grinned from ear to ear. Then when it was her turn to sit on his lap boy she was really smiling and Santa was blushing. Mmm! I was getting a little worried as I know Santa left poor Mrs. Clause home. Mmm! I also know it gets pretty cold outside for him and only flying with his Reindeers all night long I am sure it gets pretty lonely. But between you and me I think my friend talked Santa in going home with her. Watch out Mrs. Clause think you might have some competion. Santa was sure doing a lot of Ho Ho-ing.
Well just wanted to drop in and let everyone know the time is coming, it's right around the corner and we can leave all that hustle and bustle behind us.
We can concentrate on having a great time at the retreat. Is everyone ready? I guess I should be saying am I ready for everyone!
Well I still have lots of work to do and will be getting started on it in a couple of days once again.
So I will say so long for now and hope to see all of you soon. Don't forget to call Scrapnstamp and get signed up.

YOU DON'T NEED TO OWN A CRICUT TO COME
If you don't own a cricut or don't even want to bother with one that that is no problem. This is a retreat that is willing to help those who want to learn about one but it is also a scrapbooking retreat. If you just like scrapbooking or making cards or any paper project that is fine too. Everyone is welcome to work on what ever they want for the 55 hours.
Those that don't want anything to do with the cricut but would like to attend I will make sure we have contests for you to participate in. You won't have to use the cricut. I want this to fair for all scrapbookers. Just want a fun and relaxing weekend.
If you don't want to stay but a few hours each day that is fine. What ever is comfortable for you. But remember to at least be back for the food, games and prizes. Thats the fun part!
This is just a getaway for those who want to be with other cricut and scrapbook sisters. This would be a great time to work on a project you have been trying to get done for awhile and haven't been able to for some reason or another. It is also a great way to relax after the holidays. So come and relax and have a great time.

There will be a table set up for all entries.
You DO NOT HAVE TO USE YOUR CRICUT TO MAKE THIS 2 pg. LAYOUT. This must be done on site and must have it turned in on Sat. at ONE O'CLOCK.
There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner. Winners will be announced around 1:30 pm Saturday.
You must be on site to collect your prize.
HOME LAYOUT CONTEST
1st & 2nd prize only goes to the layout that is most creative using the most cricut cuts items.

Also there is no lodging at solomon but if you wanted to bring a blow up mattress, blanket, and your pillow you are welcome to put upstairs in the meeting room. So you can rest when ever you needed too. But remember there are no showers there.
If you wanted to save on a hotel night then you could bring the mattress and spend Friday night and then go to your hotel room for Sat.
This is just a suggestion to those who are traveling from out of town.

I am going to be setting up tables for you to make a few dollars while cropping and having fun. I am sure no one wouldn't mind making some money.
Please bring in what ever items you do not use anymore and want to get rid of. This way you can have room for the new stuff. Good thinking uh! I have a few friends that would tell me to take my own advise. Hey I try to get rid of my stuff at times. But it sure is hard!
Anyways please put your name and price on your items. You will recieve the profit minus 10 percent which is going to be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
So hurry start now, as the holidays are coming up so quickly and by the time they are over, you will need room I am sure in your craft rooms.

A Swarm?? Yes!!.. a swarm is a gathering of fun people who like to crop, learn new ideas on how to use their cricut machines and to check out everyones ideas. If you don't own a cricut Don't let that stop you from joining. There will be cricuts to use on site.

This SWARM RETREAT is being held at Solomon Lodge #20
25 East First Street Jacksonville, Fl. 32206
Directions if coming from scrapnstamp you would go over Matthews Bride. Make a right hand turn on the 3rd light. You will pass a huge scottishrite building on right. Pass that and go to the trafic light and take a left turn. Solomon lodge is on the right up on a little hill. Gate will be open please drive up the driveway on left side of building and park on left side of driveway.
The doors will open at 9:30am Friday the 23rd and they will close their doors at 4:30 pm on Sunday the 25th for 55 hours of cropping & meeting new Cricut friends.
Included in the 3 day Fee: Are 8 Meals, 6 Classes, Make-n-Takes, Snacks, Drinks, Contests for good size Prizes, Great Grab Bag Gifts, Chance to WIN a $50.oo Gift Certificate, and much more.
Scrap n Stamp will also hold special swarm attendee only sales. They will also have some product on hand for us to purchase at the lodge while cropping. This will be a swarm you will never forget! Loads of fun! Come join me and other cricut sisters for this 55 hours RETREAT!! The fee is 165.00 for 6 classes, makentakes,cropping, 8 meals, prizes, gifts, etc. Breaking it down it comes out to 55.00 for each day of great fun.
Payment in full is due by Jan. 10th. You can pay as you go if you would like by calling the store at 904-725-1253.

A Swarm?? Yes!!.. a swarm is a gathering of fun people who like to crop, learn new ideas on how to use their cricut machines and to check out everyones ideas. If you don't own a cricut Don't let that stop you from joining. There will be cricuts to use on site.
